WAYS TO SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT The environment is a natural surrounding and condition we live in. Lately the environment has come under serious threat and human activities has caused many damages to the environment such as pollution. As responsible human-being, there are a lot of ways that we can do to save the environment. First, we can practise 3rs which are reduce, reuse and recycle. The first element is reduce. One effective way to reduce waste is by cutting down on water usage, for example, taking shorter showers or carpooling to reduce fuel consumption. Additionally, reducing the use of single-use plastics is essential as it lowers the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and oceans. Plastic items like bags, bottles, and straws are particularly harmful, as wildlife, such as sea turtles, often mistake plastic debris for food.
